Hi! I am a 23yo DID system that was professionally diagnosed in 2022. In May of 2024 I officially got my first childcare job, an afterschool counselor. I primarily work with kindergarteners, but for parts of the day I work with kids k-5. My plan is to go back to college and get an education degree and become a kindergarten teacher.

I decided to make this blog because I think there's a surprising amount of overlap between these two things. My experiences with DID directly contributed to the reasons I want to work with kids and help make sure they get a safe and happy childhood. I am definitely still learning - both in my field and diagnosis. Follow along if you're interested in this kind of content!
